About Us

eTorrent is a start-up company of the University of Fribourg (Switzerland) which has been founded in 2004. Its aim is to provide private users and small companies an easy way to enter the e-business world.

The eTorrent's founders are Andreas Meier, Henrik Stormer, Daniel Frauchiger and Nicolas Werro. We all come from the Information Systems Research Group of the University of Fribourg. By implementing eSarine we wanted to share our knowledge and experiences in the e-business and information systems domains.
