The eSarine webshop solution has been productively used since 2004 in small and medium-sized enterprises located in Switzerland and in Germany. Two companies from two different industrial fields have been chosen as references.

Rampinelli, Heimberg, Switzerland

The furniture dealer Rampinelli AG (www.feinsitzer.ch) sells chairs, tables and other interior as well as outdoor equipments on the Internet with the help of the eSarine webshop. The most appreciated functionality is the occurrence management which allows the specification of a product with changing attributes instead of entering all the attributes' combination as single products. On the one hand, it saves administration time as the product's description has to be specified only once and, on the other hand, it provides a much better presentation to the customers as only one product is displayed and all the different combinations are clearly presented in the detailed view of the product.

Proviande, Switzerland

Proviande ist unter der Marke Schweizer Fleisch für die professionelle Durchführung von Marketing und Produkte-PR im In- und Ausland im Auftrag der Schweizer Fleischbranche verantwortlich. Unter www.schweizerfleisch.ch sind viele Informationen zu Fleisch abrufbar, dort können auch verschiedene Werbeartikel bestellt werden.

The eSarine webshop has been partially developped as a research project at the University of Fribourg. Its development has led to several research papers presented at european and international conferences.
